Good luck to all.***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A DROP DEAD GORGEOUS OLDER RESTORED 1968 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE WITH 51,221 ACTUAL MILES ON THE ODOMETER THAT RUNS/DRIVES BRAND NEW WITH MATCHING NUMBERS 327 MOTOR AND FACTORY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, AND YOU CAN HOP IN AND TAKE IT CRUISING AT YOUR LEISURE ANYTIME. LOTS OF MONEY INVESTED IN THIS CAMARO. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power convertible top Manual brakes Dual exhaust MATCHING NUMBERS 327ci/210hp 2bbl motor Stock Automatic transmission Stock AM radio Standard black bucket seat interior with console Stock Rally wheels with FIRESTONE WIDE OVAL tubeless bias ply tires This Camaro has went through an older aesthetic and mechanical restoration within the last decade or so and has since then been stored and lightly enjoyed by taking it to various local shows and cruise nights. Paint/bodywork, interior, convertible top, exhaust, wheels/tires, suspension, brakes, electrical and lots of new chrome have been replaced. Overall previous owners spent close to $20k to redo this car. It runs/drives absolutely fantastic and best of all it's MATCHING NUMBERS and unmolested. Interior is in NEARLY NEW condition. Seats, door panels, carpeting and dash have all been replaced professionally. Console is very good. Convertible top looks and operates like new. Overall a beautifully presentable high-end driver quality interior, nearly show worthy! Under the hood lies a 100% stock MATCHING NUMBERS 327ci/210hp 2BBL. motor that has been professionally rebuilt a few years ago with less than 5k miles driven since then. The car runs/drives beautifully and starts at the turn of the key. Runs great and idles great. Transmission shifts nice and smooth. Brakes have been serviced and completely overhauled and stop on a dime. Steering is nice and nimble and the car rides absolutely fantastic as it has been fitted with optional front and rear sway bars that really adds a lot of stability during cornering. You can easily FLY IN AND DRIVE THE CAR HOME ANYWHERE, it is that reliable. I've taken it around town and on the highway several times and it has never let me down. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up BEAUTIFULLY with good luster for a nice higher-end driver but it is older and has begun to bubble slightly around lower rear quarters, lower front quarters, lower door corners and lower fenders, but it's hard to notice unless you're up close to the car. There is some filler around those areas. Underside has some scaly surface rust here and there as it was never undercoated, but does seem to show SOLID FLOORS and FRAME from what I could see. SPOTLESS TRUNK also. Missing: front seatbelts. Not working: radio. Top windshield frame has some surface rust. That's about all I was able to notice. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car, so please keep that in mind.
