It has 34,429 Original, Documented Miles! V-12, Auto Trans., Factory A/C, Convertible, OEM Wire Wheels (not reproductions). This Jag has spent its entire life in the dry heat of Arizona, and then Southern California. The car is rust-free. Those of you familiar with the XKE, know that the 1972 XKE was the last of the “big Horsepower” V-12’s before the emission constraints of 1973 and 1974. The 1972 V-12 still retains 315 horsepower, versus the 295 hp of later years. The 1972 also is the last of the small bumper stops, versus the larger ones of later years. This car is not perfect, but I would rate it an 8 out of 10. There are a few blemishes on the paint, but nothing that could not be fixed. I have invested over $30k in bringing this car up to daily driver status. This work included- HE Electronic Ignition Rebuild all four Carbs Fabrication of new rain shields Removing and rebuilding the rear end, incl. replacing U joints, replacing all bushings, rebuilding rear calipers, new brake pads and rotors, new rear wheel bearings and seals. Removing and rebuilding Front End, incl. clean and paint suspension, replace all ball joints, new urethane bushings, new brake pads and rotors, rebuild front calipers, new front wheel bearings and seals.
