Here for auction is a 1984 Mercedes 300sd turbo diesel runs and drives good However needs TLC and some cosmetic work. You may buy this car for parts or just drive. It was one of my projects i aquired 4 years ago but never had the time to invest in it. It starts right up and mechanically its powertrain is a plus. It does not smoke and blowby is within specs as you can see in the video. Brakes are long but stop. The exterior is poor paint is faded and has some rust spots below the rear window and rear quarterpanel not much for its vintage. Interior is well worn and is missing some wood trim here and there. Dashboard guages are operable but odometer does not count All windows roll down except for the passenger rear.Climate control works but does not blow through the vents. If your looking for a solid powertrain and can overcome looks this cars for you. Yes you may drive it home if you can navigate the brakes.
