Up for auction is a rare and nearly as new 2005 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor factory Sport model with a 6 speed transmission. Obsidian black over gray mb tex interior. Build date is 4/05 and in service date is 6/16/05. This car has 88,606 miles on it currently. Inside we have partial power seats, in glove box factory 6 disc changer, rear electric sunshade, ESP traction control, active steering wheel with audio, cruise, and trip computer controls, moonroof with tilt and slide, homelink garage door system, auto dim rearview, and aluminum sport pedals. This car also has the factory sport package, cross drilled front rotors, the factory mats, all books, extra cd case (factory), first aid kit, spare and all tools. The wheels are brand new AMG rims with new tires (245/40/R17). Condition: This car is probably one of the nicest around and has all original factory paint throughout with no accident history. The new wheels have zero curb rashing or marks (and boy are they pretty on this car), the paint is silky and shiny, the interior is impeccable with no rips or tears anywhere on any seating surfaces. Overall, I would say, by looking at this car, that it has less than 20k miles on it. You really need to see it in person to appreciate it. This car rides and drives like new in every way and is very quick and fun to drive. The manual shifts smooth and the clutch is right off the floor, the brakes do not pulsate. This vehicle has been thoroughly detailed inside and out including a full carpet extraction, engine bay steaming, underbody, and exterior wash and wax. Picks: Though the car is near perfect, it is used and has a few minor issues to discuss. We would never have someone drive from any distance, even if you were down the street, without letting you know all the facts. In leiu of this, here we go- The driver power window switch, although it operates, is loose. The center armrest has detached from it's pivot points so it is 'laying' on the console. It doesn't move around on you or affect driving, it just isn't operating correctly. This car is missing an area in the front wheel well on the drivers side. It is a small plastic cover piece (likely very cheap and easy to replace) at the bottom front of the well. This car has a usual amount of rock pecks on the front end commensurate with the mileage, but it no way takes away from the cleanliness of the car. There may be one or two scratches (I could only find one) on the car (it really is that nice). The lower front part of the air damn on the drivers side and center, if you bend over real far you can see it has scuffed something. Nothing is cracked or needing replaced, it is just scuffed with some paint removed. You can't normally see this unless you are bent over. Finally, the brake pad light is on. Now, we took this car in on trade and the owner noted he just had the front brakes redone but did not replace the pad sensors. These sensors are very cheap so it is not a huge deal. As noted, this car rides and drives as new and I would not hesitate in a second to drive it anywhere in the country.
