Up for bids is my 62 Impala Sport Coupe. SS trim has been added. Currently has a 1970 350 truck engine with mild cam. 4 speed close ratio tranny that is nice and tight, great clutch. Currie 9 inch Ford rear with 3.50 gears, posi, nodular center section, adjustable panhard bar. Body is straight and car had half quarters installed at some point, done right. Originally Ermine white with turquoise interior. Paint has a very slight pearl white paint job now and black interior. Everything in the interior is new. Custom Autosound stereo, Alpine amp, Autometer gauges, Hurst shifter. Headers, Flowmasters, Be Cool radiator. Original steering wheel and gauges go with the car. Car is straight and shiny. Trunk and floors solid. Has engine turned side moldings and rear panel. Hood has some bubbling in front by emblem. Boyd Coddington wheels and new tires. The car doesn't handle well because of the front springs being heated by the previous owner. I have a new set to go with the car, as well a a new starter beacuse this one clicks sometimes when trying to start. Converted to a 605 steering box and power disc brakes, the car was built for comfort and to be a great cruiser. Not a show car, but a nice cruiser worthy of showing. Just about all exterior trim is new with the exception of the window trim and front bumper. Windshield is original and has scratches. I need to sell because I want to move out of state. Bank holds a lien on the car which must be paid off before transferring. All legit and no funny business. Much money and time invested and selling for way below what it's worth.
