Vehicle Detail

I had to relist due to the large number of offers of trades etc. that came in when this was first listed! Sorry; but this is a cash only sale. This car was bought as a "barn find" several years ago by my good friend. Unfortunately he passed away suddenly soon after getting this car running well. I really miss arguing MG vs Triumph with him. His Son wants to sell it to settle estate bills etc. and keep 1 car from his Dad's collection but does not do e-bay so I will be selling it for him from SC. I only saw the car once as it is in Ohio west of Dayton. Please study the pictures as from what I can see this is at least 2 cars combined; looks like a TR-2 front clip on a disc brake 3 car. My friend bought it from an estate without title so it will be difficult to trace back at this point. He was driving it out in the country as all his neighbors confirmed, but he told me the hydraulic brakes were not working (minor issues like this never kept us from having a little fun.....) downshifting and the handbrake were sufficient. He was a stickler for originality and a master tool & die maker so I doubt ther are any bodges done since he got hold of it. That is about all I know; again, study the pics! A deposit is due to hold the car until the entire amount is paid by cash when the car is picked up. I have confirmed this car can remain under cover after the full amount is paid for 2 weeks after the sale to allow pick up time. Insurance during this period of time will be the new owners responsibility; I think Hagerty will do this for you based on the add pictures. Let me make this clear - this car has no title, nor is the ID plate present, that is why I put it as "Unknown"
