For sale I have a 2000 Lincoln LS V8. I purchased the car to work on in my free time, but I'm just too busy. When I bought the car the owner said it had an overheating problem I have not had time to look into the problem very much. I drove the car home about 10 miles and it got warm but not hot. The next time I drove it, it got hot and I had to stop and let it cool off after about 20 miles. The car runs and drives great. It only has 92,503 miles on it. The previous owner had just put a new Ford transmission in it. The transmission only has about 7,000 miles on it. Anyone who knows about LS's knows that if they get hot they will limit power, then shut down. So my thought was that with the way it runs, and those safety measures the engine itself is not the problem, however I have not worked on it. All of the fluids are nice and clean and it looks like the car was taken care of. The car is fully loaded with all options, and everything works great (even the a/c). The body is about a 7 on a scale of 10 NO RUST, and the interior is in good shape. The drivers side front fender is dented. The car has the 17" wheels on it, but the tires are bald. Title in hand.
