Vehicle Detail

For auction is a 1964 Chevy II Nova Sedan. The car has a clean title. Runs and drives, but has some issues to be fixed(please read on below). This car would make a great project for a daily driver or a full on frame off restoration, it all depends on how far you want to take it. The car is very structurally sound, but again does need work. I bought this car as sort of a project for my fiance' and myself for her, but as it goes we need the money and we don't have the time for her. So rather then let her sit around, I would much rather the car go to a good home and hopefully see it at a car show and making someone very proud. The car is a straight six, im unsure of the size. The transmission is a 3 speed auto, looks to be a th350. All remaining trim, looks to all be there, was placed in the trunk. All in all this would make a great project car: for restoration, family project or just something to play around with. Issues: Head gasket is ruptured, car runs with it, but would run much better with a new one. Rust in jambs(surface), rear seam, and floor(see picture) was replaced, but not very well. Car was repainted and not very well, the paint is very thin and looks to be single stage, body work isn't great either on the doors and is a bit wavy, excess body filler is located at the base of the quarter panels, there is some over spray on the glass. Gas tank and transmission leak a little, but both are in operative order Wheels/tires need to be balanced, theres a heavy vibration at 45mph Heater core ruptured and filled the blower motor compartment causing a short and was unplugged, heater core was bypassed. Tailight wiring needs work, the terminals in the connections are loose and cause the fuse to blow. Interior was rattle canned, house carpet for floors, original headliner. Suspension is squishy, new shocks would be a good a idea. Turn signal switch plastic cracked from being old and brittle. There is a cassette radio with the car, but it is not installed. Replaced: Front brake hardware completely replaced with brandnew hardware New tires installed with 70 miles on them(need balancing). Radiator leak repaired Alignment done New wiper blades New fuel filler neck hose This car is being sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied, all sales are final. It WILL need to be trailered unless driven no more then 15 miles from its original location. If you have ANY questions please ask me and I will be sure to get back to you, if perhaps you don't hear back from me within 24hours please try me at my email: RyanBabros@yahoo.com Happy bidding!!!
