Here is my british racing green almost every day driver offered for sale, this is a great car that drives very straight and completely dependable, and as i put in the title as this car is from 1975 there is no requirement for a CA smog test (the last year this is possible), saving lots of time at the rolling road!,the car will come with the hardtop that you see in the picture this also has been recently refurbished,the factory convertable top frame is also included in the sale, i also have a roll over bar for the car that would be avaliable at extra cost if the winning bidder is interested as well as a 1970 parts car with wire wheels and chrome bumpers if you were interested in performing a chrome bumper conversion on this car, and some very cool enkei gold and silver alloy mesh type wheels again if the winning bidder is interested. i am truly sad to see the car up for auction, the car has a clear title in my name and is registered until may 2011, i have done a fair amount to this car over the past year, here is a brief summary. Mechanics: All new brakes, new pads at the front, rebuilt dual master cylinder, rebuilt calipers with new cylinders and o rings, new rear cylinders, springs and brake shoes(linings), parking brake works perfectly with no drag. All new borg and beck clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, new lockheed master cylinder, new slave cylinder and new custom braided line between them, the clutch peddle is so light you wouldn't believe it. free flow performance header, into standard size system, sounds good. DGV carburetor with electric choke. Electronic ignition, no points to worry about, using pertronix ignition and flamethrower chrome coil and lucas 45 degree distributor. New distributor cap and rotor, new spark plug leads and plugs, all Bosch. Complete cooling system flushed through, new oil in engine and gearbox, standard 4 speed non overdrive. Everything from front to back has been checked and serviced in whatever way was needed, from topping up lever arm shocks to greasing all the nipples, rear differential, bearings etc. New Denso high torque starter motor, never fails to start. New seals on the rear end when brake work was done. Electrical system: If you know British cars, prepare to be shocked.....everything works. I have spent a lot of time, cleaning every contact and switch and rewiring where necessary so that everything works. Every sidelight, turn signal, high and low beam, brake interior, tach, hazard, warning lights, dash lights, trunk, you name it. Has never blown a fuse. Alternator pushes out good voltage. Cosmetics: Very, very good, straight clean titled So-cal car it's whole life. Zero rust. British racing green paint is very nice, it's not the original colour, that was the inca orange, but looks good with no fading, no scratches or bumps, same for the rubber bumpers they are in great shape also. New carpet, including trunk,complete with new heat and sound deadening material underneath everywhere, floors, rockers, bulkheads, etc. New seat covers including headrests. New leather cockpit trim, gearstick gator and centre console lid. All new door and interior panels. New inertia reel seat belts. New wood gear knob, with matching key fob and two sets of MG crested keys. New solid metal chrome window winders, new chrome pieces all over the car. New top door caps, all new seals in the engine bay, windshield, windows, trunk lid, hardtop, locks, door handels etc. New gold and black jubilee MG emblems front and rear, these were only put on the 1975 model year. New chrome all over the car from the small pieces that hold the door seals, windshield washer jets to larger pieces such as the fresh air intake grille. Newly painted wheels with polished beauty rings, MG crested lug nuts and new gold and black centre caps. Refinished wood steering wheel, very nice. New back up lights and brake light lenses. New chrome mirrors, MG crested door plates, and Bosch wiper blades. New rubber seals all round, doors, windshield, lights, hood etc The car is slightly lowered allround, which I think gives it a great stance. Hardtop is included and in great shape, and very hard to get hold of, car does come with the convertable frame. Firestone tires have at least 85 % left on all of them. I'm sure that there are mant other new parts, but i think you get the idea!
