For sale by owner 1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible with 150xxx miles The car runs and drives fine, but it leaks oil from the engine and needs to be topped off with one quart of oil every 500 miles. The oil from the leak sometimes drips on the rubber belt making it slip and after a while the battery goes dead. The leak needs to be repaired before this vehicle will be a reliable car. Mechanic quoted $900 repair for the oil pump and seal. It was maintained properly with full synthetic oil changes on a regular basis. It runs clean, does not smoke. The timing chain was replaced at 139,000 miles. The transmission shifts smoothly, all electronics, windows, locks, CD player, etc., work excellent. The convertible top works excellent. No warning lights (Check Engine etc) are on. The A/C blows ice cold. The paint is in great condition, looks like new, it has some very small chips or stains on the front and back bumper. The vehicle will need a new battery. It has a clear title. The inspection and registration stickers are up to date. Tires look almost like new. There are two working remotes and keys included.
