Vehicle Detail

Fully Restored, Red, 327 V8, 4 Speed, Beautiful Convertible, Must see, Garage Kept and covered, Original Body and Engine, Engine has only a few hundred miles on it since being fully rebuilt/restored, Fully Rebuilt M20 Muncie, Hurst Competition/Plus, 2.73 Gear, Power Steering, New Dual Flowmaster exhaust, Console Gauges, New gas tank/fuel lines, New brakes and lines, new paint job, Rotisserie restored and cleaned everywhere, Bought this dream car 1 year ago from Best of Show Automotive ($38,500) as an investment and need to sell immediately because I am starting my own business, Everything is finished but needs carpet and seatbelts installed, Have both brand new in boxes and comes with car. Things not working (Speedometer/Odometer, radio, window washer fluid, flashers) and I don't know why they are not working (maybe fuses, wiring). Needs someone that can fix and finish this baby off. It would take very little to put this car in showroom condition. Reason for new carpet, I had console cluster gauges and tachometer (both factory correct and work perfectly) installed before i bought the car and when I received the car the oil pressure line was leaking from behind gauge (all fixed now, just loose connection), so I decided to replace the carpet (front carpet has been removed). Best of show payed for the carpet, I just have not had it installed yet. Also, the car did not come with seatbelts. I ordered them new (factory correct) and they are also not installed yet. Best of Show said I could install both fairly easily (seatbelt holes come predrilled from factory). I just have not got around to it. The pictures show the old carpet and without the new console cluster gauges. I also believe the other electrical equipment not working maybe related to the console gauge cluster installation. Most likely a simple wiring configuration. All other operatiing lights work perfectly. Only body blemishes is a small crack on spoiler paint (can only see up close) and a small dent on driver side bottom chrome molding. The car runs, drives, sounds, and looks great!! Other than some small fixes, this car is PERFECT!!! Car also comes with car cover and convertible boot. As I said, I paid $38,500 a year ago and am willing to lose money on it. I must sell this car within a month to finance a new business venture. I could not get bank financing and selling my pride and joy is my last resort. Title in hand. Payment by cashiers check. Red hot and ready to go! This '67 Camaro has a hot 327 under the hood, a four speed transmission in your right hand and SS attitude from front to rear! Newly finished and fully rebuilt this brilliant drop top is here just in time for summer! Start outside with the beautiful, fresh Matador Red paint. Sure this car was born gold, but red is just right on a hot rod like this! Besides, the builders inadvertently replicated chef Guy Fieri's car from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, so there's a neat tie-in for you foodies out there! The paint flows smoothly across the entire body, accented by clean chrome, shiny stainless, new badges and of course the SS stripes. There's a new convertible top on the refinished frame, a clean grille up front and new taillight bezels out back. The glass is all original and is clean and clear. New Chevy Rally wheels with B F Goodrich 215/70 front and 245/60/14 rear Radial T/A tires are as nice riding as they are looking. The SS trim was added on during the restoration, but it fits the car to a "T" right down to the ducktail spoiler out back! Designed to fight back against Ford's otherworldly popular Mustang, Chevy's first generation Camaros are beautiful and are truly one of Detroit's most timeless designs. Bill Mitchell's design group penned a car that looks great stock, looks amazing modified, saw success in drag, road and endurance racing, and people are still building them today. Heck?Dynacorn Classic Bodies even went to the trouble of reproducing entire 1st Gen shells?how many cars are still available new 40 years later? Pop the hood to find the original, fully rebuilt 327 4bbl in correct Chevy Orange. There's a new water pump, correct alternator, a proper Delco R59 reproduction battery and spring clamp cables, new GM hoses connected to a re-cored radiator, correct exhaust manifolds and gaskets?the works. The engine bay itself sports a fresh coat of chassis black over clean sheet metal. New spark plugs, spark plug wires, a cap and rotor kit, a new air filter and fresh fluids make for a dialed in and ready to go cruiser! Inside is a real treat?the optional custom interior looks fantastic, especially with the silver accent stripes on the seats. New seat covers, new formed door panels, new carpeting and sill plates are as you'd expect in a restored interior. The console's in great shape and looks awesome with the big Hurst shifter poking through. Born a Powerglide car, the two speed slush box has made way for a totally rebuilt M20 Muncie unit with a new Hayes clutch and all the trimmings. There's even a Hurst Competition/Plus shift box under the floor, so bang away! The original gauges work as new, as do all of the lights, wipers and switches?it's ready for summer! Underneath you'll find fresh undercoating over clean sheet metal. The car was rotisserie restored and cleaned everywhere, so that undercoating serves as a sound deadener and damage controller rather than a crutch to hide bad bodywork! The front and rear suspensions are new from the shocks and springs to the tie rods, ball joints, steering box, bushings and isolators, and proper markings are applied throughout. The original 10 bolt is out back with highway friendly 2.73 gears for you long haulers. The gas tank is new, as are the fuel and brake lines and all other brake components, and a brand new dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers sound awesome and give the car a real performance growl! If you're in the market for a classic you can drive without worry, you might as well have a convertible. And if you're going to get a convertible it might as well be bright red. Of course it's going to be a V8 car, and it oughta be a stick car, right? With gorgeous styling, a killer paint job, a fresh interior and a sorted drive train this bright red drop top's good to go for a weekend getaway, a cruise up the coast or a tour of Route 66! Camaros of this quality rarely last long here at Best of Show ? don't wait on this one! I have had many questions and interest over the car the last few days. To answer many questions, the car is not an original SS. The SS emblems and stripes were added during the restoration to give the car more attitude. An original SS and this quality of restoration would be valued well over $75,000. Everything else was kept to original factory specs. during the restoration, which makes cars like this harder and harder to find. For more information, please click the link at the bottom of the auction description and view the video. Thank you for viewing the auction and as I must sell the car to help fund a new business, I have lowered the reserve. I wish I didn't have to sell it, trust me, I paid $38,500 a year ago for this dream car!!!***** CALL NATHAN 706-244-5955 WITH ANY OFFERS AND QUESTIONS
