1971 Ford Maverick Restified Street Machine This car is as sweet as it looks!! Car was originally from Oklahoma, This car came equipped with a factory V8 & Auto trans. Rear Differential: Ford 8" 3:80 Detriot Gearless Locker (This was done prior to Eaton's purchase of TruTech. This is a locked rearend, not a limited slip. This locker rear end performs better on the street.) Transmission: Ford C4 with 2900 stall converter Transmission was built by The Transmission Shop Inc. Sun Mechanical Gauges (Oil, Volt, Temp) Alpine CD Player backed up by a Jensen 400 Watt amplifier driving a pair of Jensen Co-Axial speakers up front and a pair of Jensen 6x9 Tri-Axial for the rear. Bazooka BTA-6100 61/2" powered Sub-woofer Chrome Fire Extinguisher Exterior: Original Factory Dark Green Metalic Paint (Color code:C) Factory Mercury Comet GT Hood Scoop Front Spoiler from MAS St. Paul, MN Factory Ford Grabber Deluxe Gas Cap Factory 1970 Ford Grabber Grille Factory wheel well trim rings Crager Street Supertrick II Rims Tires: Front: Hankook P205 / 60R 15 Rear: Hankook Ventus H101 P265 / 50R 15 Summary: This car is aching to be finished. All that is left is for someone to drop a new H.O. longblock in it something at or above 325 hp and complete body work/paint. The car runs and drives great. I have had it in several car shows including the Car Craft Nationals. There is a little rust in the lower left hand quarter panel due to a bad trunk weatherstrip, other than that there is no other rust on the car. it is a very solid/tight car. I have replaced the weatherstrip. There are some other minor dings and paint chips/paint fade as you would expect. I will throw in all of the paperwork including receipts, owners manuals, etc. a Grabber Trunk Lid and some other goodies. There simply is too much to list! I noticed that the rear picture at the park looks like the left side is lower than the right. This is not the case at all. I have added another photo from level ground the garage which will hopefully show that the vehicel sits proper with just a small amount of California Rake. (Rear sits higher than the front) Please note that there have been 2 speedometers in the car. I convereted to the white face but didn't like it so I switched it back to the original factory black face. Hence mileage on the longblock is unknown. I can say that the mileage on everything I have done is well under 5,000 miles Please email me with any questions. If you purchase the car you will need to arrange pick up from St. Paul, MN. I wouldn't recommend driving it across the country as the engine is getting tired from running at the higher rpms that the gears demand.
