Hello people for sale I have the extremely rare XFi model Geo Metro.For those who don't know when this car came out it had the highest MPG rating out of any car in the world and continued many years after they stopped making them.The XFi is rated over 50 MPG.To achieve this superior mileage the XFi was stripped down for weight savings.The car has a special 5 speed transmission with better gearing to achieve better mileage.Even the motor and computer are different to help aid in MPGs.The motor has 2 ring pistons and a special cam.I have included several links to help you understand about this car for those who dont know about this awesome little car.http://gtkgeo.50megs.com/http://metroxfi.com/2008/01/how-to-identify-a-geo-metro-xfi/ It costs me around $20 to fill the tank I can last up to 500 miles a tank or more.Why pay over $20k for a hybrid?With several easy mods(most are free)you can even have this great car getting over 60MPG.If you check on some of the forums you will see some car getting as much as 70-90MPGS with cheap modifications.It realy is amazing what this car can do.The money you can save on gas alone will pay for this car 2 times over.You can easily save $1500 a year with this Geo if your car is getting in the 20MPG range now. Please feel free to run a Carfax or check the free report in my listing.Note the car has a clean title and no accidents.It spent most of its life in South Carolina so its a RUST FREE car.For those who don't know these cars are prone to rusting on the body and A frames,in most cases the frames rot off and have to be welded.Its hard enough to find any Geo without rust never the less an XFi.My car is in great shape with NO dents yet a few small dings from everyday driving.The paint shines great with no blemishes.Under the hood is very clean.The interior is in excellent shape no dash cracks.This car sat in a garage most of its life out of the elements.The only flaw on the interior is small part of the vinyl on the drivers seat is cracking.Even the hatch area is primo no rust in the spare tire wheel in fact I don't think the spare was ever used.This car is in excellent shape for a car its age you would be hard pressed to find any Metro in this shape never the less a real XFi. The car starts up everytime and runs like a new Geo.It runs strong with no leaks.I would trust this car to drive to Alaska and back.The motor was replaced around 25k miles ago with a 40k JDM motor,and yes the XFi cam was swapped and installed( I have the old motor which I can include in the sale at no cost)At that time a new clutch was installed,new hub bearings,shocks,and front brakes.Pretty much everything on the car is new or has been replaced.Has a full tune up with the best plugs and a K and N filter no expense was spared.The tires have 70 percent left.It has the original 12 inch wheels and tires.The car has been kept original and unmolested.It does have the added passenger side mirror due to North Carolina safety regulations.A factory Geo radio was added as well and works great.The car also has window rain guards added which are fully functional in the rain.This car should last another 150k miles or more. This car is till driven today and has passed NJs very strict safety and emissions inspection which is good for 2 years.Once you learn how to drive this car you can increase your mileage by technique and shifting patterns.If anyone buy the car out of state I can possibly help a little with shipping.Any questions please feel free to email.I can always take more pics.
