Up for auction is a true barn find , California car. This 1970 Chevelle SS still retains its original 396/350 horse and a turbo 400, 12 bolt posi with 331 gears. The car has been sitting under a cover for the last 14 year and taken out once and a while to keep things going. The paint on the car is about 15 years old and has never been rubbed but still looks pretty good for its age . While the build sheet indicates that the car was originally blue with white stripes and a white top, the car was painted cranberry red with black stripes and no top , the car has had only one repaint.The interior is original to the car and has never been out , for 90K plus miles its in driver condition and not all that bad.Under the hood is about the same ,the motor has never been out of the car and looks like it ,needs a good cleaning but runs great and every thing is there, the car does have headers and flow masters with 3" pipes, it runs and drives great with very small leaks from sitting for so long. As you can see it has the correct SS wheels on it which are 14 x 7 AO code as well as the original spare and jack assem. Some of the options are, power steering , power disc brakes,air conditioning, tilt wheel, power windows, fiber opt washer bottle, . I have spelled out the option from the build sheet look below. The floors,trunk and around the windows in this car are perfect The frame and rockers are just as nice. It has a small spot of rust on the roof left side by the drip rail just starting and looks to be it.This is truly a VERY RARE 1970 Chevelle SS having all of the number matching parts still on it.
