I have had this truck for a year now and have rebuilt or replaced everything on the truck to make it a good work truck. Everything that has broken or worn out I have upgraded but also kept the original components in case someone would have wanted them. For example I upgraded the battery to an optima red top which just never dies, the carb has been upgraded to a weber 32/34 which makes the truck just unstopable. The suspension is a skyjacker 3" kit with springs and shocks, this kit allows for clearance of 33" tires with ease but also allows you to load the flat bed up with a good amount of heavy gear. The gas tank rotted out on me so I made a fuel cell out of a beer keg and it has been great just no working fuel gauge so you have to watch your odometer. (Beer kegs hold 15 gallons of gas). The bed has been converted to a flat bed and is constructed of galvinized steel and wood slats. This truck runs great and is used daily would hate to see it go but I am in the middle to a profession change and need money to get this ball rolling.
