Offered from collection of San Diego Auto Museum. 1948 Bentley Mk IV, title non op status, Vin # 50698010885 Chassis # B271BG, James Young body no 1532 body style C10 built from 1948-1952 In line 6cyl. 4256 cc. Ash frame with aluminum panels with hood, top and sides in steel. Built in Crewe UK. Factory records indicate sold to Major in British Army. Last one of this line of Bentleys. Good overall condition with interior controls needing attention. Paint is very good and interior leather looks very nice. Hydraulic front brakes and mechanical rear probably need to be rebuilt. On Jun-22-10 at 11:53:32 PDT, seller added the following information:I have added some pictures of the Bentley. The color is actually a very dark silverish green color. There is no apparent rust. It has a sunroof. And the leather in the interior is mostly in good condition-not much wear but it needs to be reconditioned. The paint appears to be original and in very very good condition. Carpets are fair. If there are tools in the car I could not find them-but I didn't know where to look. Tires are huge, in excellent condition but pretty old. THe museum has had the car for over ten years and we have clear title. The was a problem with the right door-but seems okay now-it closes but no as smoothly as the left door.
