2005 Honda CR250R CR 250 R low hours super clean Up for sale is my 2005 Honda CR250R. 2005 was the last major design change for Honda that ran through 2007. There are many upgrades from the previous model years. I'm only selling because this bike is way too much for me. I got into MX at 45 and I'm now 50. I've never had a 2-stroke but always wanted one. Well everything they say about 2-stroke power is true...this thing is a beast. I haven't crashed, but with that power it's only a matter of time. I do track days on a CBR600RR and that seems tame by comparison. I'm better off with a 4 stroke and less power. All that said I was looking for a super clean and stock example. I didn't want to mess around with someone's cobbled together ex-race bike. This bike has never been raced. I knew the original owner. He bought it leftover in 2007.He had his second kid late last year and I bugged him to buy it as I knew the history and how he takes care of his stuff.This bike is almost all stock. He replaced the tires late last year and they have less than 5 hours on them.The plastics are all original, so you can see they were never trashed. They have a few light scuffs in places from normal riding.He installed Works Connection radiator guards. I've included detailed pics so you can see all the areas close up. The bike starts first kick and runs super super strong. I changed the trans oil when I got it and after the last ride with Honda trans oil. The brakes and clutch work perfect. This bike needs nothing. I will also include an additional main jet (37.5) and Honda 2-stroke oil. The only area that needs pointing out is the rear rim has a ding (pictured). It was like that when I bought it and no problem when riding. Tire holds air perfectly. The stock exhaust pipe has a few small dent you can barely see in the pics. I've set the reserve price substantially lower than the buy it now price. I've included a buy it now since in the past many people write and ask for it. This is really a great bike that would be better in the hands of a more skilled MX rider. I take care of my stuff and only buy the same.
