1990 Jeep Wrangler 5 spd Manual Transmission 4X4 4 Cyl, 2.4L Engine 125k Miles I bought the Jeep 3 years ago, and have only driven it in the summer. It is a second car and I am selling it for financial reasons. It has always treated me well, a credit to the intense maintenance I keep on it. I have changed the oil twice every summer - once when I put it back on the road in May and again in late July - I give it a tune-up every year also. I wash it thoroughly after every off-road or beach excursion. I do not smoke or let my dog in the Jeep. The Jeep is equipped with a hard top, 2 half doors as well as two full doors with windows (though I have never used them). I have attached 2 PVC fishing rod holders flanking the front grill with 2 bungee cords that hold them in place. There are 2 fog light hi beams in the front as well. It also has a stereo system, as I have found it difficult to hear music while driving otherwise. It includes: -Kicker 8” subwoofer in a custom box -2 Kicker 5” speakers in the back seat -2 Alpine 5’ speakers in the sound bar up top -2 Sony 5” hi end speakers in the front -The speakers are powered by an Alpine Vpower 400 watt amplifier under the back seat -The deck runs full sub control, hi and low toggles, and different EQ pre settings. It is equipped for HD radio, though I do not have a subscription or know much about it. I use it with my iPod, which it runs off USB (control the iPod through the deck, not the iPod itself - very helpful feature). ****The entire stereo system is marine grade, made for boats so it is all water proof. You do not have to worry if the top is off in the rain**** (Which, hey, is pretty awesome) This Jeep is a blast in the summer. I have taken it on the beach at Gilgo Beach, Democrats Point, Flying Point, and Montauk Point. I have gone offloading at a few locations here on the island and once in Pennsylvania (highly suggested). You can cast 2 surf casters out, anchor them in the rod holders and surf until you see a line hit. Not to mention its aesthetic appeal with the top off. I would like to sell this Jeep to someone that intends to care for it the way I have. It is a very open engine and is a great starting point to learn about motors. I have personally learned a great deal from working on this Jeep. I will include the Haynes Manual for it, as it can answer any question or troubleshooting for DIY maintenance. Everyone always says “I hate to see it go” in vehicle advertisements, but I really do. I have had some great times in it. The Jeep did have a soft top, but I never used it and it rotted on the side of my house. The hard top is easier and quicker to take off and on. Thanks for looking!
