This is a very nice daily driven 1980 silverado with a 1986 nose on it. It runs and rides very smooth. It's original engine was replaced with a V-6, which runs excellent and quiet, and the automatic was replaced with a floor shift manual transmission. It has new ball joints, brakes, front end alignment, and exhaust. It get's good gas mileage, all lights and blinkers work, no bondo buggy, it is solid. The only problem with this truck is, the speedometer cable is unhooked because it is in the way of the shifter, and the shifter needs new shift rods, as these are bent , if you don't know how to drive it, it will hang up between 1st and second gear. I have a new shifter kit which will be included with the truck. You can drive it home, if you can't get the feel for the shifter you can start off in second gear. I would not be afraid to drive this truck to canada and back, I am only selling it because I inherited another truck and don't need 2. This would make a very nice truck for a teenager if you want a sharp truck but not the big v-8 engine. The inside is as clean as the outside, It does have some small dings and scratches here and there but it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures.
