1999 VW volkswagen passat with leather & turbo motor Item Description you are bidding on a VW passat. I will do my absolute best too describe this very nice car as best I am able I am a honest seller as you can probably tell from my overall feedback record also if you live locally come out and look at the car for your self before bidding. This car could be tricked out in so many ways you can tweak the motor (20 turbo motor dropped in) buy cool accessorys for it and much much more. I am starting the bid off much lower than the blue book value of the car over half off too ensure bids and there is no reserve what you win it for is what you buy it for I will not refuse sale under any circumstances. This car has leather interior and could use a good detail job on the inside but is not terrible. the outside of the car does have a new paint job and a rust free body. these pics are exact pics of the vehicle for sale. I do not know why but in the ebay prefilled out things it does say sunroof which this car does not have I do not know why that came up. The reason I am selling it is none of the windows which are power windows will go up or down I belive this too be caused by the master switch I never cared too much as I used the AC The neutral safety switch has went bad which does not effect much except for when you start the car you do have too put it in neutral and turn the key at the same time in order to start the vehicle, the other problem this has caused is that when you are driving sometimes sitting at a light or what not it must go out of gear because when you try too accelerate it will rev up but you have too manually shift it into neutral and then back into drive this is not a big issue and does happen rare but from what I have been told the switch will straighten all of this out. The ABS light stays on but I have never had a problem with the breaks this is a common problem with all ABS cars. I do not have the know how too fix all of these problems although I love the car. If you have any questions at all be sure too check with me before bidding as by bidding you are entering into a legally binding agreement. I also do not have a key for the trunk of this car never have since I owned it but it does have the back seats that go down so you can access the trunk. The only other problems with this car are the passengers side door does not open from the outside (caused by the rod is off it is actually a cable on this car that takes the place of the rod) but it has came undone and just needs reattached. the passengers side mirror is cracked only on the glass and the windshield does have a crack but not obstructing the drives side view as you can probably see. This also has a flip down detachable face panasonic cd player installed This car also has heated seats and a great heater for winter driving and it has cold AC for summer driving. This car has 313,00+ on the body although you would never know it by looking at it, but the motor was changed last year so it really only has less than 200,000 miles on it now and these cars are known too run for 400,000 + so this car has a lot of life left in it. This car is located in Canton Ohio I will not deliver you must pick up vehicle in canton ohio I do not care if you fly in and drive it home I do not care if you tow it or have it driven or pulled on a trailer but you must come get the vehicle within 48 hours and must arrange a time with me before coming too ensure it is a good time for the both of us also if it will take you longer than 48 hours too get here I will require you letting me know when you will be coming. payment must be brought with you in hand cash only no checks due too fraudulent buyers. I will only except paypal as a payment if positive feedback is left for me before I hand over the tittle as I will require my funds being avaliable. If you are the winner of this auction and it will take longer than 24 hours too come get the car I will require a nonrefundable $200 deposit only because of dealing with too many games before on local pick ups. if you pay the $200 deposit which will be invoiced through paypal after 24 hours if you have not showed up and you come this will be knocked off the payment of the vehicle however if you do not show up within 7 days of the purchase the 200 will not be refunded and the vehicle will be relisted if you do not agree too any of my terms or conditions please do not bid. On Jun-10-10 at 20:52:29 PDT, seller added the following information: do too many questions I am adding the following information for everyone wanting pics of the inside they will be added shortly so please just continue too watch and check back and they will be added. also as far as the miles go the car had well over 200,000 when it was changed so the odometer now reads 300,000+ but when the motor was changed last year the new motor had 169,000 so I am estimating that it is now at around 189,000 so the odometer does read more than the motor actually has on it which is where I have come up with this car should not even be half way through its potential life as these cars are known too run for over 400,000 and this car is not even at 200,000 yet. any additional questions please feel free too ask and again the pics will be added shortly for all of you waiting thanks again.
