Vehicle Detail

Looking for the best deal on a CLEAR title, driveable 350Z? You've found it. This is a 2004 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast/Automatic in Daytona Blue (the best Z color). This car was my wife's daily driver for the past 2 years/30k miles until last weekend, when a drunk driver came into her lane on a back road and sideswiped the car. Fortunately no one was injured, and the hit and run/drunk driver was later caught, but as you can see the car took on quite a bit of damage on the driver's side, plus a little on the passenger side from going off the road a little (no shoulders). First a little about the car, then the damage: The car has a CLEAR title with a clean history (Carfax/Autocheck). It is the Enthusiast trim level with an automatic (w/ manual shifting option) transmission. Non-power cloth seats with no tears but a few stains (chlorine from pool?). It has HID headlights, LED tail-lights (aftermarket), super cold A/C, and great sound with in-dash CD player. There are some random scratches on the various pieces of plastic around the interior, but overall it is in good to fair condition. The outside LOOKED outstanding with a perfectly clean body and beautiful paint. The car performed flawlessly with great acceleration, smooth shifting...everything you'd expect out of a 350Z. Sometimes if it sits for a while (in the winter, after vacation, etc.) it will start a little rough, but otherwise no problems. It has been well maintained with regular-interval synthetic oil changes, all (4) new tires in 2008, new brakepads all around in early 2010. The car is PA registered and inspected through January of 2011. DAMAGE (PASSENGER SIDE): The passenger side has had the right-rear "mudflap" piece broken off, the right edge of the front bumper cracked, and the amber reflector lens in the front bumper popped out from hitting twigs and such from going slightly off the road. DAMAGE (DRIVER SIDE): The driver side has damage on every panel from front to back. The front bumper is cracked in the bottom center and the left edge. The left front fender is pulled slightly back and has dents all over. The A-pillar is cracked at the bottom and has many scratches. The side mirror is gone and the triangular base piece (?) is busted, with bare wires hanging out. The side window is scratched horribly. The door is completely messed up, with a chunk missing and dents all over. The wheels took on a few scratches, but nothing major. The rear fender is dented in many places and has a lot of scratches. The rear bumper is cracked at the edge and has some scratches and scuffs. To summarize, the car will need: front bumperfront driver side fenderdriver side mirror and base driver side A-pillar (or repair)driver side doorrear driver side fenderrear bumperrear passenger "mudflap"paint, laborOur insurance company appraised the damage at around $5,000. A local body shop that I've used before said they could do it for less. After reviewing our options, my wife and I decided to buy a replacement daily driver and either sell this car as it is or build a frankenstein, "who cares how it looks" track/drifting car, since that tends to lead to damage anyways. I will try listing the car with a very modest reserve a few times, and if it doesn't sell I'll have a new hobby :-) If it does sell, someone will probably be getting the best deal ever on a CLEAN TITLE, driveable 350Z. I have the clear and clean title (not salvaged) IN HAND. The car runs and drives, but without a side mirror it is not road legal. If you have any questions, please ask! I can also give you my number to discuss the car. I strongly encourage you to come look the car over in person if at all possible. Obviously, this car is being sold AS-IS. It is sitting in our garage and will not move until it is sold.
