This auction is for a very nice Chevrolet Express LT luxury sport van made only 2 years, 2001-2002. It is a factory installed upgrade package with 7 passenger leather seating in high back captain chairs, all power accessories available, fully carpeted and just a pleasure to drive. I am the original owner and I have the original build sheet, the window sticker and a clear title. This van was purchased from Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, TX and was their display vehicle at the Texas State Fair when it was new. They put special wheels, a woodgrain dash dress-up package and a special paint job on this van so it would stand out on display. It had 111 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 165075 miles but still looks great and drives and handles as it did when new. The vehicle has been well maintained and everything is functional with no known problems. Oil was changed every 6000 miles and other maintenance done as needed. The A/C has a fresh checkup and blows cold front and rear, the tires are Hancook Optimas, a 100,000 miles warranty tire, with excellent tread, and a new distributor was installed earlier this year. The 5.7L V8 engine is very strong, does not use oil, and has great acceleration. The transmission is excellent and shifts without hesitation. This is a vehicle that you would have no fear of driving anywhere at a moment's notice for vacations, family outings or just to the store. The kids can be entertained by watching the two drop down LCD video screens and the built in gaming console. The Bose stereo system has 10 speakers and is excellent with the wireless headphone sets for private listening pleasure. These vans were only built by Chevrolet/GMC for two years and are their answer to aftermarket conversion vans. They are sought after becuase everthing is factory installed and not cobbled together using a cheapie base van to start with. I am listing this with no reserve at a low starting bid. Edmunds value listing for this vehicle is $3500 trade-in, $5600 retail. If you check, one of this same model recently sold for $10,000! Granted it had fewer miles but otherwise is the same vehicle. You can feel confident about this vehicle, buy it, fly in and drive it home, wherever you live. Gas milage has been adequate for the size of the vehicle, getting about 17+ on long road trips and 14-15 around the area. It has a 31 gallon tank so it is great for trips. Now for the negatives! The driver's seat has three separations where the leather tore out along the stitching. There is a scratch on the passenger's side door from a mailbox being too close to the curb, and a ding on the bottom of the rear door from a trailer out of position. There is a crack on the lower windshield, but it doesn't interfere with visibility. There are some wear marks and dings at the rear cargo area. There are a couple small hail dings on the hood but that is all the damage I can think of. You are welcome to have an inspection done or call me for a personal look if you are local.
