Up for sale is a very nice 1985 Olds Delta 88 Royale Coupe. I am the second owner of the car. It has 64,500 miles and runs like a top. Brief history of car. Car was bought by a gentleman from Philly that worked for an olds dealership there. He drove it with a dealer tag until 1994 when he had it titled. The car was an A title until I bought it. From what I was told this car was this mans baby. Always kept in a garage and he had it painted about 8 years ago. He died some time ago and his wife sold it to me. It has the 307 Rocket V8,Auto trans with overdrive.Power seat,Manual Windows and power door locks. It has a Pioneer CD player that I installed. The title showed the original miles when he had it titled in 1994 There was 34000 miles on it then. I have all the reciepts I found in the glovebox about oil changes,brakes etc. The car runs and drives excellent. Trans is tight and shifts excellent.Engine starts right up,Choke works like it should and doesnt smoke or make any wierd noises. I think the passenger side valve cover may seep a bit but nothing leaks on the ground. The brakes are all like new,all lights work,Stereo works,and even the power antenna works. This car has REMOTE ENTRY and REMOTE TRUNK. He had a very expensive alarm system put in and the keyless entry works and so does the alarm.I disconnected the siren though because it was annoying. 1 simple wire to hook back up if you choose. The car has also had a brand new radiator,Brand new exhaust all the way back including a brand new cat.New battery and 4 Brand new tires with Brand new American Racing wheels.The receipt I have says the wheels and tires were installed 500 miles ago.The exhaust about the same time. The body of the car is nice,The paint still shines very well for being 8yrs old.Some bubbling is happening on the trunk lid nothing terrible though. The floors,frame,trunk,and underneath are clean no rot holes or heavy rust.Normal scaling rust on certain parts but overall there is still factory undercoating on the floors. The car had a vinyl roof originally. When he had it painted I would assume that is when it was taken off. Some of the trim is fading around the windows but nothing major. The worst part of the body is the passenger side door.The outside of the door is solid,No rust at all.But the underneath where the water collects has rot and holes.You cannot see them unless you lay on the ground and look up and you cannot see them from outside the car. But the door if you want to make it perfect should be replaced. The drivers side is starting to rust at the bottom too.But again nothing on the outside. I hit them with rust inhibitor and white primer to prevent it from spreading. Everywhere else on the car is solid. The bumpers are starting to flake a little but no rot. The interior is nice as well.Not perfect,The headliner in the back was sagging so I put headliner pins in it.There is a small crack in the dash about 3/4 inch long. The drivers power seat does not work,It clicks but doesnt move.And the heater works great but the AC needs a recharge or conversion.Not sure. Also the heater will only work on defrost and floor.No vent. Most likely a vacuum line.The seats and carpet are decent.No major rips or stains. The steering wheel has some sections of it missing.Im not sure why GM cars do that but Im just listing it so its no surprise. Again the engine,trans and all driveline are in really good shape. It runs and drives like it has 64000 miles. I drove it home 81 miles after the car sat for a year and half.No issues and it rides like a caddy.The body turns heads too.It really does look nice.You usually do not see these types of cars around looking this nice. It is not a show car but you do get looks around town in it. The car is inspected until 5-2011 and really doesnt need anything to be a daily driver or sunday cruiser.If you have any questions please call me I know I listed alot here but I like to list everything I know about the car.
