You are bidding on a 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster! No reserve! This M roadster is very unique as it comes with the factory estoril blue matching hardtop! How does the Z3 roadster differ from this S52 M Z3 roadster? The engine is rated at 240 hp (SAE) at 6,000rpm and 236 lb/ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. It has a cast iron block, aluminum cylinder head and four valves per cylinder, with two-stage VANOS variable valve timing on the intake strokes. Unique to the S52, however, is a larger bore of 86.4mm and a longer stroke of 89.6mm for a total displacement of 3,152cc. In addition to the larger displacement, the S52 utilizes the following special M components: Ported and polished cylinder head, Retuned VANOS variable valve timing for greater high-rpm power, Heavy-duty valve springs, More finely balanced camshafts, Valve lifters, springs and spring seats with reduced mass, and Free-flowing intake and exhaust systems. Cosmetically, the M roadster is based on the wider six-cylinder Z3 roadster body, but adds a more aggressive front fascia with brake cooling ducts in place of foglights, unique side gill vents with the M logo, chrome windshield washer nozzles, curved M side-view mirrors, a lower rear bumper with four exposed exhaust tips and a repositioned rear license plate (located between the taillights instead of within the bumper). Like all Z3s, the M roadster’s suspension is made up of MacPherson struts in the front and semi-trailing arms in the rear. However, compared to the six-cylinder Z3 roadster, the M roadster has the following modifications: wider front and rear tracks (by 0.4-inches), reduced ride height (by 1.1-inches), modified front suspension geometry, firmer springs and shocks, thicker anti-roll bars, stronger semi-trailing arms, and reinforced subframe. For the less techinical information, this M Roadster comes with: 5 speed manual transmission Estoril Blue + Black Nappa leather interior Front Airbags Side Airbags Power windows Heated seats (driver and passenger) Power soft top Power seats Rear defroster for the hard top ABS brakes Traction control Cruise control 6 disc CD changer Upgraded subwoofer (MBQuart) with MTX amp Back window softop cover Wind deflector Hardtop bag and hardware for easy storage And much more! The two main reasons for the low starting price are: there's curb rash on the lower fascia (see picture) and you will also need two new front tires. We could have fixed these two minor issues and increased the price but you are probably going to make the same mistake as I did and pull too forward into a parking spot. As for the tires, I would rather have the new owners choose their own tires since there are so many out in the market. Those are the only issues we can see. Fun, fast and easy to drive! And don't want to forget to mention all the looks and compliments you will receive every time you drive this car. The engine is strong and the suspension plants itself into the corners. It's almost hard to imagine how impressive this car performs until you actually drive it, especially since it is 100% stock (minus the subwoofer)! The only reason we are selling is because it isn't practical anymore with kids in the picture. This M Roadster is priced to sell. Clear title in hand.
