My Wife Purchased this car when she was in High School back in 1980 and brought it up from Florida (still has window safety inspection sticker I believe only 2400 of this model were ever made... still have lots of parts available.. One of the first years for a Cast Iron V-6 engine... 198 cubic inch She is a Nice Cruise mobile and has been on many parades and a few shows.. (they love the convertible) The Interior seats are origonal and have covers but need to be recovered, but seat still firm and in good shape. 50/50 split bench in front Top is in good shape overall (manual) only 1 small 1 1/2 slice.. and rear plastic window is shot (got $100-150 est. to replace) Starts on first try everytime.. burn little to no oil.. and appears strong as ever.. We only take her out a few times a year.. Thus with kids heading off to college wife has decided to sell Chrome appears in really good shape and majority shines super bright...Good by todays standards as a "Driver" Newer Brakes and Tiger Paw Tires.. Drives straight and breaks as it should.. I have set a low reserve, as i know her condition.. as I know she won't go as high as recent ones on ebay that went for $6000 and $9000 respectfully Car could probably make it anywhere; But remember she is almost 50 years old.. so trailoring would be advisable if your from far away. Paint is fading and could stand to be repainted but as convertibles go this age pretty decent.. Pictures don't do her justice. come see her in person.. or come buy her Planes, amtrak and greyhound all come to South Bend, IN as we have Notre Dame College here.. This is a "as is" sale.. So please don't bid thinking you can then come and look, nitpick and decide if you do or don't want to buy.. Please be a serious bidder and ralize if you are the high bidder or you pushed the "Buy it Now" button this is a legal binding sale and enforcable thru the Indiana state courts in St. Joesph county. So be respectul of others who are interested, along with myself in the time and trouble to list and advertise this. It is a hard thing to part with her after all these years and want someone who will cherish her as much as we did.
