Vehicle Detail
2001 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8 Please take a look at the pictures of the actual vehicle. This car was my personal vehicle for about 2 1/2 years and I loved this car. It has the premium power package that includes the heated leather front seats. Both driver and passenger side have power seats with lumbar support. Also the stereo system is a Bose system and it has a sunroof. I have always put premium gas in the tank and had full synthetic oil changes (5W-40) (yes it can take either 5W-30 or 5W-40 but I think the 5W-40 works better and is worth the few extra dollars) Includes 2 keys (FOB Remote Key and Valet Key.) The vehicle was in an accident on March 5, 2010. Car insurance company just paid me for the damage and I'm moving up to the Audi A6. So I'm going to give you some details from the other company that my car insurance company had inspected the vehicle after the accident so you can know more about the vehicle. (This is an independent inspection.) The car starts up and the engine runs and I was able to drive the vehicle, however there is damage to the driver side. I took it for a test drive around the block. And let it run in my driveway for about 2 hours just to make sure the engine was still fine to run. The transmission and engine and all the electrical options in the car seemed fine. Also checked the air conditioning and such. The speaker in the driver side door is either broken or the wire could also be the problem. The driver side mirror is intact, but it is stuck on dim (it's a power mirror with auto dim function) Trunk and engine hood seem fine. (Glass for driver side door is broken/missing) Air bags did NOT go off as the impact was from the side. Buyer will get a clean and clear title signed over. Please keep in mind you will need to fix a few things such as at least the front and rear tale light assembly and a new piece of glass for the driver side to pass state inspection. Below is the appraisers report from after the accident. The pictures are from after the appraiser report and after I had the car cleaned out. Car is in Cheektowaga NY a suburb of Buffalo, NY and can be looked at by appointment before you bid give me a call at 716-989-0062 mon-fri 9-5 EST. It's the buyers responsibility to pick up the vehical within 72 hours of auction end. If you can't do so, do not bid. I have not had a full estimate for repairs to the vehicle. (In New York State, if the vehicle has been damaged to such an extent that the total estimate or actual cost of parts and labor to rebuild or reconstruct the vehicle to the condition it was in before an accident and for legal operation on the road or highways is more then 75% of the retail value of the vehicle at the time of loss then you have to check the box on the title when transferring and you would have to have an anti-theft examination before being register and the title issued would have the statement "Rebuilt Salvage: NY" on it.) When I called the NYS DMV today they informed me that I could simply sign over the title as it is and don't have to check the box, however if your going to pay more then 75% of the retails value of the vehical to fix it then you may need to get a salvage title but I'm going to leave that up to you and sign over the title in it's current clear state and let the buyer handle anything after that.
