YOU ARE BIDDING ON A CLASSIC 1972 BUICK RIVIERA BOATAIL COUPE WITH ONLY 115K ORIGINAL MILES AND THE FAMOUS 455 CUBIC INCH V8 BIG BLOCK MOTOR WITH 4 BARREL CARB. AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW BY MY FATHER IN 1972 AND HAS STAYED IN THE FAMILY EVER SINCE. ALWAYS VERY WELL CARED FOR I HAVE A STACK OF RECIEPTS AND REPAIR INVOICES 2 INCHES THICK ! THIS CAR RUNS VERY STRONG WITH SMOKE AND NO OIL BURNING. THE CARBURETOR WAS PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT IN 2006. THE TRANSMISSION SHIRTS PERFECTLY - STRONG AND SMOOTH. REPAINTED THE ORIGINAL COLOR IN 1994 AND A NEW VYNIL TOP PUT ON IN 2006 THIS CAR LOOKS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. THE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THE DASHBOARD HAS NO FADING AND NO CRACKS, THE SEATS WERE RECOVERED IN 1994 AND THE HEADLINER WAS REPLACED IN 1996. EVERYTHING DONE TO THE PAINT AND INTERIOR WAS DONE IN THE ORIGINAL COLOR SCHEME AND AS CLOSE TO ORIGINAL MATERIALS AS POSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN THE STOCK LOOK. IN 2006 THE ORIGINAL RALLY WHEELS WERE PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED AND THE TIRES WERE REPLACED AND HAVE BEEN DRIVEN LESS THAN 1500 MILES SINCE NEW. ALL 4 ORIGINAL CENTER CAPS INCLUDED. THE BOTTOM OF THE REAR FENDER WAS DENTED IN 1996 BY A BOAT (IS THAT IRONY OR WHAT !) SEE PICS. WHEN PARKED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME THIS BUICK WILL LEAVE A DROP OR 2 OF OIL - BUT THATS IT. THE AC IS COMPLETE BUT WILL NEED SERVICING. ALL THE WINDOWS WORK - THE REARS NEED ADJUSTMENT. THIS BUICK HAS A CHEAP CASS RADIO THAT ACTUALLY SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD PLAYING THROUGH THE ORIGINAL SPEAKERS ! THE POWER SEAT CONTROLS WORK BUT NEED NEW SWITCHES TO WORK PERFECTLY.
