The car was purchased by my friend in1986 and he drove the car occasinally untill 1996 when he became physically unable to drive. The car was parked in a dry garage untill last week when I had it towed to my workshop and prepared the car to run. while my friend owned the car he had the body painted from red to burgundy and the interior redone in tan from white. I drained the remaining fuel from the tank and blew through the lines with compressed air.A new fuel filter was installed and also an inline filter between the pump and carb. With a new, although not proper, battery installed the car fired right up.Also the oil and filter were changed and I also did a compression test all cyl over 150 and equal The body is relatively straight and solid although there is som rust and minor body damage.The engine runs well and the top works and is in good condition. The paint is fair at best but it does shine and could possibly be rubbed out.The interior door panels need some work and the drivers door can't beopened from the outside. The windshield has some wiper marks. Some minor oil leaks.Tires look good but are old. Newer stereo with door speakers. Brakes work ok but I would advise some attention.The car drives and steers well and wants a new home. A deposit of $1000.00 due in 24hours and balance in 72 hours
