It is bright cherry red original factory paint in excellent condition with immaculate black leather interior. The paint is glossy and still shines like new. No dents, no rust. The seats are firm with no rips or tears and the leather is in excellent condition. All the plastic is in excellent condition including the map pockets and e-brake console. Dash also in excellent condition with no cracks. It has a rare automatic transmission, power windows,factory sunroof, power locks, Factory A/C, Original Factory AM/FM stereo with Casette,power mirrors and heated seats.I have all the original manuals etc. It has always been garaged and very well maintained. Has Bilstein shocks and struts custom matching red turbo hoses under the hood and a really nice metal IPD belly pan. Has brand new front brakes with rotors, all glass in in perfect condition and tires are like new. Runs and drives excellent, handles tight and looks AMAZING!! I get stopped wherever I go. I have all of the original manuals, extra sets of keys and alot of paperwork. Also, car was just recently fully tuned at a local Volvo shop here in Seattle, WA. Including new wires, new cap and rotor,new plugs, new fuel filter, throttle body cleaned, new flame trap, fresh oil change, transmission fluid flushed, power steering fluid flushed, coolant flushed. brand new front brake pads and rotors,new rear main seal, new kick down cable, all fuel injectors resealed and a new muffler installed.Everything is in fine working order. transmission shifts smooth and overdrive works perfectly as it should. Always been in the Northwest, garaged, never smoked in only 2 owners!! The Volvo 242 turbo is becoming highly collectible and extremely hard to find in this condition. I've seen ones not nearly as nice as this sell for $8000 or more and they will only become more valuable with time.
