Vehicle Detail
This 1939 Packard has been in storage many years and is all original having 99,557 miles. It does not run, the 8 cylinder motor is stuck. It is quite unique being a seven passenger sedan with rear fold down jump seats. It is a model 1702. This car needs total restoration and is a good candidate for one as the floors and trunk are completely solid, the frame is in nice solid condition as well. There are dents in the fenders. The left rear door has a small rot hole in the lower right hand corner. The right front door at the very bottom is starting to show signs of rust through. The rest of the vehicle just has surface rust where the paint has worn off. It is missing the following parts: rear tail light lenses, wiper arms, ignition and door keys, cigarette lighter, and air cleaner, otherwise I believe everything else is there. The front windshield rt. hand section is cracked and one of the windows in the doors is cracked. The far rear left side window glass is missing but there is one included with the car. This car rolls very easy and all tires hold air and are in good useable condition. On Jun-03-10 at 16:11:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Inside the trunk were the two passenger side wheel covers which I have now installed. There is also a missing knob on the dashboard switch which I believe may be for the instrument lighting?
