Hello and Welcome! Here is my 1970 Grand Prix Model J Project car In very good restorable condition. I will start with the good. The car is numbers matching, The body is in very good condition most of the body work has been done, The left fender & door was replaced with a rust free set The left rear quarter had some repair but nothing bad there was never any patch panels in the quarters. The right front fender is clean had some repairs on the lower part, The right door is clean no rot, The right rear quarter had been repaired but no patch panels just small work. The vinyl top was removed & is clean underneath no rot. The part under the rear window has been repaired & looks good. The bumpers are clean with no damage to speak of. The Interior is in nice shape. The rear seats are near perfect the passenger seat is just as nice. The drivers seat is torn on the bolster from getting in & out the old owner placed duct tape on it. The carpet is very nice & the dash is real clean, The headliner is not sagging & has two dime size holes above the passenger visor & all the glass is good. The frame is solid no holes or repairs & the floors are clean as well. The center console is cracked in the picture i have a new one the same color included. The car has the Factory 8 track player & fm radio works great. The Engine runs solid no knocks or smoke. The Trans & rear end shift good. The Exhaust has new mufflers , It will need over axle pipes & tail pipes. Now for the not so good, The trunk floor needs repair or replaced there is a hole inside the trunk on the right rear side about 8 inches long by 4 wide, the driverside is about 2 inches by 2 inches & there are some pinholes on the trunk floor. The car needs springs as they are weak & shocks I have brand new monroe replacement shocks to go with the car, The front pads & rotors should be changed And there is a brand new set of pads rotors & wheel bearings that will go with the car. The carb sticks alittle & I have a year old Holly carb thats perfect that will go with the car. The shifter cable needs replaced ( but is still usable) . There are a few other things iam sure. This is a project car! Not a showroom model. What this car can really use is a person who has the time to get this car back into shape. It is not really a parts car & I hope that it does not become one. The car is currently in grey & black primer that would need to be re sanded & done over. I WILL HELP YOU FIND A SHIPPER IF NEEDED.
