If you want a good running and driving, Solid Classic Beetle then look no farther. This car is in need of a cosmetic restoration only, (Paint Job and Headliner) The Floorpans and heater channels, even the battery area is Solid. I have installed a new master cylinder and I undercoated the top side of the frame beneath the fuel tank while I had it removed. New battery, Brand new complete set of tires, Glass is good, Runs Smooth and Shifts with ease. Seats are Original, This car has black primer on it as I was going for the flat black sheen look until I decided what color I wanted to paint it, I never decided, and I have an itch for a newer VW so I am offering it here, Does not have a title, However I have a current Georgia Registration and Legal Bill of Sale in my name which you can use to obtain a title in your state if you need one. This car is driven daily and will go anywhere, Drive it home, runs good and handles smooth. Full payment due within 5 days of auction end.On Jun-01-10 at 21:15:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I Bought this from a VW Mechanic whom is in his early 70's, been working on vw's since the 1950's and this was going to be his personal car to keep until his health got bad, So yes it is in mechanically good condition, Also there is a secret start button for this car which was installed to prevent thieves from driving off with it Rear drivers side brake needs adjustment works fine just makes a little noise when stopping. Yes the speedometer works. I think I have covered everything.
