This 1998 Ford Ranger Pickup is offered as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a 4x2 model with a 112” wheelbase. It is equipped with a 2.5 Liter 4 cyl engine with an O/D automatic transmission. This truck is not equipped with A/C. Engine runs okay, but the check engine light is on. The transmission is starting to slip and up-shift is abrupt. Shifter is very hard and truck will only start in neutral. Front end loose and in need of attention. Power steering growl. The body is in fair shape with a few scrapes and dings, which can be seen in the photos. The interior is in poor condition with the floor mat worn through on the driver’s side and a large tear in the driver’s seat. Tires are in decent shape. This vehicle is owned by a municipality and email inquiries can only be answered during the normal business hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm (eastern time), Monday through Friday. Email inquiries sent over a weekend or holiday will be answered on the next regular business day. The successful bidder must pick the vehicle up at our location in Oakdale, Long Island, New York and a certified bank check (bank must have branches in New York State) or U.S. Post Office money orders are the only forms of payment accepted. Full payment is expected within 7 days of the auctions close. A copy of the buyer’s driver’s license is required to complete the transaction.
