1993 Buick Century, blue, 4 door, automatic, V6, PS, PB AC, 104k miles Nice ride! Large, deep trunk. V6, the engine has never over heated, no missing, no leaks of any kind, either internally or externally. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic Transmission – all in perfect condition. New heavy duty tires, new top of the line heavy duty battery.The car is in excellent operational condition, and to the best of my knowledge has never been in an accident (my mother bought it used in ’94). The car has always been garaged up until the past two years, and has always been properly maintained. The body and paint is in excellent condition (not faded or scratched, but very dirty from sitting outside for two years). No scratches on the outside, and no rips or tears in the interior, and nothing is stripped or missing from the car. Recent complete tune-up – plugs, wires, filters, etc. Current smog and registration 104,673 original miles Large, very deep trunk. I inherited this car from my mother (as shown by the old registration) but just don’t need it. Current registration with pink slip will be provided along with other documentation (repair receipts, user’s manual, etc). This car is in excellent condition except for the following problems: 1 - Very intermittently the car will stall when the outside temperature is very hot. Sometimes every 15 minutes and sometimes once every 2 to 3 days the car will stall, but when it stalls it will always restart in 1 to 10 minutes and drive again as if nothing was ever wrong. I don’t have the time or desire to diagnose this problem. And because I don’t need the car I don’t feel like paying a mechanic to fix this problem. I just really don’t need this car that I inherited. It just sits and the registration is due to expire in June, so I decided to sell it. Driving over the mountains of Topanga every day the car averaged 19 to 20 mpg real-life actual mileage. I can testify that on flat roads it does better and on the freeway it will do much much better, from when I drove it to Santa Barbara, Alturas, and Riverside. 2 – Second problem is someone tried to break into the car and popped the internal door linkage off the inside front door handle, so I must keep the front window open a little so I can reach in as the front, drivers side door can now only be opened from the inside. I was given an estimated repair cost of $200 to remove the door panel and reattach the linkage to the door handle. Other than these two problems, this car will be a good, long lasting car for someone. But because of these two problems, I am selling the car as is. Payment must be through PayPal only.
