This is a very solid Tenn car that went to Knoxville when new ( I have the production order ) There is no visable rust and the doors do not drop when opened. It is good running original 289 automatic with a 2-bar carb. I believe the mileage is original (61,000) but I have no documentation. The car was repainted some years ago and still looks great. The door jams, trunk, and eng comp are original. However, the underside of the trunk lid has been painted. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. As well as the grille surround and other pot metal. The stainless trim is nice, no dents in the wheel opening mouldings. The car has a beautifull new red interior. The color comb is original. Also new is the dual exhaust system with glass packs. The fuel and temp gauges have been professionally rebuilt ($400) but are still non-functional. Everything else works includeing all the lights and am radio. If your a Studebaker nut, you know that these Hawks are hard to find in good condition.
