Here is a 1989 Pacific Coast in Great Shape – Garage Kept – Only 15,000 Miles. This is a Daily Driver and great commuter. Know as the “station wagon of motorcycles”. The Honda pacific coast is a coveted classic. A light weight cruiser powered by a v-twin 800cc engine that can give you 50 Miles per gallon of gas when operated conservatively. The large storage compartment can’t be beat. Technically, I am the second owner of this machine. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner in 2003. It had been sitting in a shop for roughly 10 years. It was serviced by a Honda dealership before I picked it up. I would not be selling my motorcycle if I absolutely did not have to. Please review the photographs for a better understanding of the condition of this bike. I will describe the condition completely and honestly. My feedback says it all. Some dings and scratches. - The right hand mirror is damaged. The outer casing of this mirror was broken. I have patched it with JB weld and painted over. The mirror is cracked. - The windshield has scratches and some “crazing.” - The rear seat has paint over-spray on it. - The front tire is worn and should be replaced. (I had put a new one on at about 7500 miles, when I first got the bike) - The left trunk had a hole worn through during transport at some point. I patched and painted it. You can see it is a little rough in the photo. I have an additional trunk cover that I am including with the sale. - Skid bar covers have scratches. - All 3 tail lights have small cracks. The left turn signal lens has a small hole. - Other wise it is all basic wear and tear nothing to worry about. On the good side. - the engine and transmission, cooling system, electrical system are all in sound working order. There are no problems. The battery is new this month. - The rear tire was installed last summer and only has about 1,000 miles. - The oil was changed every spring since 2003, including this spring. - The seats are large comfortable and have no holes or tears. - Again, I have a replacement trunk lid that I purchased on EBay. - I have a new LH tail light lens not installed. - The original owners manual and tool kit are included. This motorcycle is for sale "as-is" and "where-is". There are no warrantees or guarantees expressed or implied. I have described the bike honestly, I would not be afraid to hit the road on this machine for a cross country trip today. I drive it to work whenever the weather permits. I will not ship but I will deliver within 50 miles, by driving the bike, (in case you have a local crate and ship arrangement). The bike is in SE Michigan. 30 miles north of Detroit. Notice that the actual mileage is less than 15K. I intend to keep driving it until you have made your down payment. Payment terms: I will accept Cash, Check, PayPal, Charge Card, Money transfer, Certified funds. I will charge 2% premium for Pay Pal or Credit Card or debit card. (because the bank or paypal will charge me for these) (this will be collected when you pick up the bike) A $200 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the close of the sale. If you cancel the transaction, after seeing the motorcycle, only $150 will be refunded. Full payment must be received within 72 hours of the close of the sale. (other arrangements may be made with advance discussion) Payment by check will not allow release of the bike until the check has cleared my bank. (probably 3-4 days).
