Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1998 Jaguar XK8. This car has a 4.0 liter V8 engine that runs extremely strong when pushed, but can also be a cruiser. The car is great it has power everything, all the options and doesn't give me any problems. The car is a salvage title vehicle but is not a junker. From my understandings this car had front end damage and the bumper headlight and hood were damaged. The damage is all fixed and the light was installed but the wiring harness hasn't been connected to the light. The engine bay is all straight, there are no dents or bends in there so this made me sure when buying it that the engine most likely wasn't severe engine damaged in the collision. I did take it to my mechanic when the body damage was repaired just for a check up to make sure everything is how it is supposed to be and he told me that there is a bit of compression being lost in the engine. I don't know if that could be from a gasket seal, or maybe a bigger, or smaller issue. All i know is that there is a bit of pressure being lost but i couldn't tell the difference, like i said it runs strong and I had it looked at around 6 months ago and it hasn't given me any problems since. These cars are pricey, i believe they were worth around 80-70K when new and they are one of a kind on the road, you don't see very much of these driving around. The car is unique, beautiful, and powerful it is not a vehicle for just anyone. Once the car is purchased i plan on using the money immediately to pay medical bills so I encourage you to ask questions and be sure you know everything about the car before bidding. The buyer is responsible for shipping and i can do nearby drop offs but I'm not trying to drive for hours to get the car to the buyer. Since i am being rushed to pay these medical bills i am requiring a $1,500 deposit within 48 hours and for the remaining balance to be paid in full 7 days after auction ends. Please ask questions, feel free to call and ask any questions, (509) 901-7769 Roy, and good luck bidding!
