If you are not sure as to the translation of that wonderful old Latin phrase, it is "Let the buyer beware". This Buick Century is being sold for a small community bank in eastern Missouri. You know the old joke about the used car that was only driven by a little old lady to church? Well that almost applies to this car. The car was voluntarily surrendered to the bank following the death of the borrower/owner. None of the heirs wanted the car, and their were no other owners on the title or borrowers on the loan. The car was picked up by an auto detailer who said that it drove very well considering its age. We have not had any mechanical inspections performed upon the car. The tires appeare to be in averge condition and treadlife. The cloth seats and interior door panels are intact, showing normal wear for a car of this mileage. Contrary to the auto-populate listing feature of Ebay, this car does NOT HAVE a power drivers seat. The steering wheel shows some deterioriation (cracking of the upholstery) which could be easilly remedied with a new cover. On balance the interior is very clean for a car of this age. The front bumper has considerable peeling of paint as shown in the photographs. There is a noticable deviation in the gap between the trunk lid and the fender when comparing the right side to the left. I have tried to show that in the attached photographs. This car needs some TLC and it could be a nice first car for a teenager, or perhaps a "spare car" as those can be handy. For the truly adventurous this car could be turned into a low rider with an air suspension system and assorted other accoutrements.
