dimalynn Store 1933 AMERICAN AUSTIN ROADSTER Older restoration purchased 10 years ago with the intent to re restore it into a show car with all proper original components. All hard to find original parts are with car. No expense was spared finding mint restored original carb, gauges, horn, headlights, etc. Car was running when purchased. Chassis has been restored from the bare frame with all new bushings, cables, etc. Motor, trans, and rear end have been opened up and checked to make sure they were gone thru during earlier restoration and look great. All chrome and upholstery work has been done along with 5 new tires and hubcaps. Windshield on car is off a later model Austin and proper V shaped frame comes with car if you want to change it. Body and fenders are loosly bolted to restored chassis and are still in horrible modern bronze color former owner painted it in and is virtually rust free. Wheels are painted in crimson and creme which was to the the color scheme--creme body/fenders with crimson sweep panel. This car was intended to be a keeper and is only for sale due to the economy. We have about 12m in money invested in the car plus lots of in house professional restoration shop time and have our reserve set at below cash investment. This is a choice car with all the hard expensive work done. It has a cute cartoon look to it that attracts lots of attention when rolled out of the shop for even a few minutes. It can do nothing but go up in value.
