1978 Suzuki RM

1978 suzuki vintage mx bike, bought from a guy who restored these bikes for many top vintage racers.I raced it twice 2 years ago and once last year.In the intermediate class I got two first places and one second.Bike was built with a powder coated frame and engine.Engine was rebuilt from top to bottom with nos parts,crank rod,piston,cylinder,clutches.Every nut and bolt was new.front suspension was all rebuilt,reear suspension was new progressive complete units.all new brakes bearings cables and controls.Rims are new excell with buckhannon spokes and new bearings and powdercoated hubs,metzler tires.Proform pipe and silencer no dents,pipe could use repainting.All new plastic and hardware,o-ring chain and new sprockets.New air filter.new seat foam with cover.pro taper bars.ONly thing reused was the tank wich was painted and is chipping in a couple spots,could use a repaint.ONLY ISSUE is the footpeg bracket cracked and had to be welded,does not pivot now,Have another bracket,footpeg,springand pon.just have to get it cut off and weelded back on.Also have a spare tank and fenders to change it to a 76-77 style ,spare stator and ignition box.spare bars and a new kenda rear tire.bike is located in the eastern panhandle of west virginia minutes from md. and va. zip 25442 Not a show bike but a solid vintage race bike.
