You are bidding on a ONE-OWNER, Fleet serviced and operated 2002 Chevy Venture LS mini van with an Activan handicap conversion. This van has 158,060 miles on it (don't let that scare you, once you see and drive it, you will understand). The van has a clean carfax (just click on the link below to see if for free). The paint is in great shape with only a few minor rock chips and scratches to be found. There is no rust on the body that I can find. (LOOK AT THE 80 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED. HINT: CLICK ON ANY OF THE LITTLE PICTURES AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE LARGER PICTURE, JUST SCROLL BACK UP TO VIEW IT.) The body is also very straight. You will have to hunt to even find a minor door ding on this van. AGAIN, IT DOES NOT SHOW THE MILEAGE AT ALL. They used these vans for longer distance transfers and that's why the miles and condition. The tires have about 50% tread left on them and are wearing evenly and smoothly. The interior of this van shows very little wear at all. There are no holes or tears in the non-slip flooring, cloth seats or headliner. The van can carry up to 3 wheelchairs and 3 seated passengers. The lift is manual, so no worries about it breaking and all the expense that comes with that. The van appears to have never been smoked in. There are a couple of small trim pieces missing, but nothing major. Ventures are one of the only mini-style vans that are actually ADA approved (they do have 56 1/2 inches side door entry height and 59 3/4 inches interior height.
This van has been extremely well serviced it's entire life and it shows. I bought it, jumped right in it and drove 18 hours in a day and a half back to Dallas. The van ran perfectly with no issues and got 26 MPG at an average of close to 80 mph. Since it's been in Dallas, I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS VAN NEEDED VIRTUALY NOTHING AT ALL. It has no leaks or drips, does not smoke and has no shimmies or shakes at 75 mph on the freeway. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly every time. THIS VAN IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE ENJOYED OR BE PUT TO WORK RIGHT AWAY. The van comes with ONE complete set of wheelchair anchoring straps. There are anchoring strips located thru-out the van. The ramp is VERY simple to use and is spring loaded to aid in the lifting and lowering (simple one handed operation). All the power and electronic equipment work like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle.
