1973 Dodge D600 Grain Truck 57000#GVW This is a nice running old truck. Runs, drives and dumps. 361 2-BBL gas engine. Four speed with 2 speed rear end. Minimal rust. 16X8X5.5 ft bed. Top hinged tailgate with grain door. I've been using it to haul firewood. Huge truck; holds about five or six cords of wood. Carburetor rebuilt last summer. New brake lines. New battery. Interior is from a '73 New Yorker. Black vinyl with armrest. Padded door panels. Vintage Panasonic AM/FM radio. Heater and all gauges work. Windshield wipers do not work. Brakes work, but needs left rear wheel cylinder rebuilt or replaced. Small leak, need to pump brake to engage. Needs left rear leaf springs replaced also. Dodge started making this truck in '58, this is the final year for this body style. Most parts are interchangeable with the earlier models. Differences are minor like door handles and trim pieces. Comes with parts truck. 1970 cab with 1972 frame and 360 gas engine. Has good leaf springs to use in repair mentioned above. Also has windshield wiper parts. Decent glass and doors, hood and fenders. Many other useable parts if interested. If bought locally, I would say the truck is good to drive up to about 30 mile radius. It's top speed is about 60 mph and probably wouldn't be very fuel efficient for highway driving. The parts truck is definitely a tow away purchase.
