Okay up for sale is a upkept Dodge Intrepid. I'm trying to buy a bit smaller of a car so I'm getting rid of the intrepid. I have owned this car for a little over 5 months now and have had absolutely no problems at all with it. The original owners of the car had told me on the day of my purchase that the transmission that it came with had gone out so they replaced it with a used one form a junk yard.After about 5 to 6 months of driving it they said that one had gone out again.So they decided to just purchase another semi used transmission for it and have it rebuilt. Anyways according to there mechanic the new transmission that had been put it and rebuilt was in good running condition and should have no problems at all with it.So here I'm going to list all of the pros and cons so that there aren't any misconceptions about the car. Pros:Gets 25 to 30 miles per gallon depending on how you drive-Good sturdy family size car-lots of space for traveling and/or moving-well air conditioned/heated cab-powerful 2.7 liter motor-great conditions hardly any scratches or dents-As far as i can tell runs without any problems at all-great starter car for any family-low reserve-reliable car. Cons:Not sure how it would do on long trips"prefer to have looked at by a mechanic beforehand"-cup holder broken-a few cigarette holes in front driver seat-passenger window gets stuck every once in awhile-few scratches on outside of car-has had transmission replaced 3 times"but rebuilt the 3rd time"-cigarette lighter in dash broken"but there is one more available in between driver and passenger seat.
