Vehicle Detail

Low mileage, t-tops, and a clutch pedal. This is an excellent example of a survivor. Very original, and unmolested. This WS4 Trans Am has it's orginal drivetrain. 301 V8, Close ratio BorgWarner Super t-10 4speed trans, and a 3.08 posi rear end. I've upgraded to WS6 wheels, and installed this restored set a few years ago with stainless steel center caps , brand new oem inserts, re-chromed correct shouldered alloy wheel lugnuts, and wrapped them with brand new BFG 255/60/15's, There are less than 300 miles on the tires and wheels. She sports a true dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and walker tailpipes correct with the chrome t/a downturn tips. The original exhaust was just too docile, but still worked well. A brand new brake master cylinder, and a recent tune up makes this car idle perfectly and run smooth. The close ratio transmission is geared quite well with a factory 3.44 first fear that really gives this girl some power out of the hole, yet has a taller third and fourth gear so you can cruise her comfortably at 70 mph and not tach too high. In the cockpit, you will see a factory radio, original seats, visors, and headliner. Eight track is an add on from myself and is not hooked up. I've replaced the door panels due to some fading, and installed a brand new carpet kit and sill plates to really make the interior look like new. Trunk mat was replaced at the same time. Under the hood is the orginal L37 301 4bbl V8. Correct valve covers, air cleaner assembly, and relatively simple due to not having air conditioning. No major oil leaks and in it's orginal blue color. Under the body is where it really matters on these cars, and from the pic's you'll see that she has perfect rear frame rails, spring perches, and behind the rear bumper is squeeky clean. **No Rust** in these quarters. This is a rust free car, and if you ever decide to restore it, that will make it oh so much easier. Options : Deluxe interior, power trunk, power antenna, pulse wipers, tilt steering, and tinted glass. This is an unrestored car. Extremely presentable, and with this rare color combination, it gets a lot of looks on the street. It's a joy to drive and with a smaller V8, it's easy to cruise and gets pretty good gas mileage. To take this car completely apart just to make it perfect would be a shame. Put gas in it, clean it, enjoy it, and save your money. This car is pretty just the way it is. Low mileage, t-top, manual transmission cars will definately be the shining stars of the late 70's second generation era. Put this one away, and you can't possibly lose. I took many, many pictures, so if there is a shot that you are looking for, feel free to contact me, and I can send it over to you. Ok. ----- So you love her and want to bring her south of the border....... This has become so easy since 2008. Most Transportation companies will pick up directly from Vancouver and will handle the brokerage for you as well. If this is not an option for the winning bidder, getting the Pontiac over the border for a US pick up can easily be done.
