NO RESERVE on this 1978 Mercedes 450sl Red Roadster that I am selling as my daughter is off to college this fall and will not need this car! This car has only had a few owners in it life and has sat out alot of her life. This auto was purchased from a Doctor who lived in Palm Beach Florida and garage kept it for many years! The car has been checked throughout before my daughter was able to drive it. Some of the changes that I made were Brakes, Calapiars, Fuel fiter, Fuel Pump , Belts Exhaust,Battery,and of course oil,transmission replacing along with the oil filter, air filter and spark plugs.The A/C and heater work great and the radiator was flushed and all the gauges including the clock all work. The car has power windows, radio,cruise control that all work great. The car as mentioned is the Roadster as it has a hard top and a convertible top that are in real good shape . The body is solid with no dents but does have a few rust spots but wouldnt cost much to make this car a show piece.The interior is in good shape with some rips in the seats. Rugs and mats all look good.All lights and components to but the hard top and soft top on all work! This car is showing 62977 miles and the trip gauge works on and off which with the previous owners and my daugter driving it and the DMV records , this car just has over 100000 or near that. The car runs real well and still has most of the original parts. The tires are in good shape and comes with a spare.This car must go and a has a NO Reserve price on it. The hightest bidder will need a deposit of 500.00 dollars within 24 hours and full payment within 5 days and buyer will be resposible of transportation to pickup or come and get the car.
