Up for sale is a 1950 Chevrolet COE 5400 Truck. I bought this truck several years ago and have just not had time to do anything with it. When I first bought it, I did get it to fire on a shot of starting fluid. I'm sure the fuel lines need replaced and the carb cleaned, but it does (did) have fire. Previous owner said it ran when parked. It is very typical of a truck that came off a farm in western Nebraska. The cab is very straight for a farm truck, it does have the usual rust in the cab corners and bottom of the doors, I would consider it very light and nothing that is not easily fixed. The top of the cab is NOT caved in and is very straight. The floor panels are there, they were just removed for the pic's. Look the pictures over good, I don't think you will find one more complete or in better condition for the money. It does not have the proper rear end under it but a more correct one is included on on the bed. Speaking of the bed, it measures 14' and has a deck height of 46". It also has a hydraulic hoist under it. Tires are up and have been holding air for years. Truck rolls and steers just fine. Although my plans were to re-power this with a modern drivetrain, I have no doubt that a bit of work on the fuel system and the brakes would make this a running vehicle. I have a clear South Dakota Title in hand. Truck has been stored inside for the past five years. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
