I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT up for auction. It is a 4 door, 4WD, 4.0L V6 with an automatic transmission. The 4WD works great with no problems at all. The transmission was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago and also works great. The vehicle has 164,000 miles on it and runs good. It does need a tune up, but still drives down the road fine. It has power windows, power locks, power mirrors, and 6 way power driver and passenger seats. It has a blue leather interior. The body has some minor rust and dings. The driver's side rocker panel is in need of replacing, as is the passenger side dog leg (in front of the rear wheel). There is also a rust spot above the driver side rear wheel opening. The vehicle has had a new fuel pump, fuel filter, exhaust system, and brakes all installed in the last year. The vehicle has a clear title and is inspected until the end of June. the vehicle has been in the family for about 5 years, and has served us very well. It starts everytime and the idle is smooth. It drives down the road nice and smooth as well. This vehicles runs great and i wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
