1972 Pontiac LeMans ’77 Trans Am 400 motor, about 3,500 miles on rebuild Standard pistons 9:1 compression Bigger valve heads 270 degree cam Melling HD oil pump Edelbrock Intake Edelbrock water pump New HEI distributor New Cliff Ruggles-built Q-jet carb New Carter fuel pump New starter New water pump New motor mounts New Desert Cool radiator New battery New battery tray Rebuilt Turbo 400 w/ shift kit New 2400 stall convertor Fresh rebuilt rear-end: new seals, bearings, new 3.55 ring & pinion, new Auburn “tight” posi, brake shoes, wheel cylinders and drums. Has about 600 miles on it. ProStar wheels with radial tires. Airlift “drag bags” in rear. Factory disc brakes in front Interior was stripped, floor sanded and galvanized. Heat / sound shield installed, then a new pad and carpet. Bucket seats out of later model car, console. New rear package tray. Factory gauges all work Tilt wheel Grant steering wheel Aftermarket tach New stereo and speakers Headliner is original, could be replaced someday. Could use a new dash cap. Top of rear seat is sun damaged (it’s from Sacramento). Car was primered but never painted. Body has no rust, or dents, but does have dings. It has NO mechanical issues, needs nothing to drive, cruise, or race. When driving to Kool April Nights in Redding, CA we got 16.6 mpg. It ran a best of 13.50 at the dragstrip, spinning the street tires. I can't make this clear enough- this is not a "project car". You can drive it exactly like it is and enjoy it. If you're local, or know someone local, they are welcome to come see the car. NO joyrides, however. I can store for a short while or may be able to deliver it, but we'll have to discuss that first.
