I have recently lost my job, and I am forced to sell my Bug. This Beetle is a great project, but its also a great daily driver. She runs great! It has a 1600cc motor with the 4spd manual trans. the miles are unknown as the odometer and speedometer do not work. Its kind of a Rat Rod or hood ride. no fenders, WIDE rear wheels! (Yes i have checked with my local authorities, it is legal to drive it open wheeled!) i do have front fenders to go with it but no rears, i also have a good spare transmission. Interior is in good, the front seats are near perfect! Work done/parts replaced with in the past year- Motor rebuilt new carb new fuel pump Work done/parts replaced with in the past two months Rebuilt transmission installed New clutch New starter New coil, dist cap, rotor, plugs, wires New rear adjustable coilovers Pros This car really is a head turner, you have tons of people taking pictures of it (some people actually recognize me BECAUSE of the car lol) the orange wheels are NOT rattle canned, they have been professionally powder coated tires have about 70% tread left Rear tires are Kumos (i cant remember what the fronts are) Has a racing style short throw shifter Cons does have a little rust, but hey shes almost 40 years old front struts are blown so its a little bit of a rough ride in the front no blinkers (i just signal with my hands) Elec. choke does not work, how ever, it still starts easily, you just have to let it warm up for a min or two I am also open to trades, dont be afraid to shoot me an offer If you have any questions at all, please call or text anytime 24/7 @ 352 342 2356 Please ask any and all questions before bidding, thank you Please note that there are no warranties on this car. On May-12-10 at 18:22:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to add- a previous owner did some funky wiring... it all works...but its funky, lol. it does go with the rat rod look lol if it is something that bothers you, i know you can find a complete wire harness here on ebay for around 50 bucks, there really isnt mush wiring to these little cars
