Vehicle Detail
This is a one of a kind 1963 cj5 302 windsor motor 4x4 barely off road. The jeep was built in new york and almost immediately shipped to arizona were i have been the only owner for 7 years. This jeep is a hot rod in great running condition very dependable. no luxuries on this vehicle though. manual steering manual brakes no air conditioning, thats why the top comes off. I have the full enclosure and the bikini top and spare tire just havn't remounted it. This jeep is faster then most modern day sports cars but still a great trail rider. They dont build them like this anymore. Since I have had the vehicle i have redone the exhaust so it has that mustang rumble i have put in an electronic choke redone cables cap and rotor, replaced the tires only 3000 weekend miles on them. I put in a custom sound system that hooks into an ipod 6x9 in the back and 5x8's up front. amp under the back seat. replaced fog lights and put on drivers side mirror. I have kept the jeep garaged its whole life in arizona. just had the whole rear end redone buy a great friend who knows alot more about jeeps then i do. He said it wasn't needed but it would make the jeep run perfectly. I have receipts for all the work. a 2000 dollar job any place at least but i got it much cheaper. he also redid the motor mounts for me, again not that they needed it but that type of thing never hurts. I really wanted the jeep to be perfect again before i decided to sell it. The jeep has a few minor problems still but nothing thats gonna hurt too bad. the electrical is fine except when it sits for a while. there is a draw somewhere that i never spent the time to find. I installed a kill switch instead so when im not using the jeep i kill all the power and everything is fine. one minor oil leak from the pan, a few drops here and there nothing big. The roll bar needs to be welded to the frame still. I just recently realized it was not, no idea why but i would recommend welding that before any off roading. seat belts need to be attached 5 point harness there but i never wore it so it was never top of my list. I really dont want to get rid of my jeep but i have a family now and i dont spend nearly as much time driving it as i should or used to. Never my primary source of transportation but i really think it could be. It gets really hot in arizona i dont care how dry it is. so in the 3-4 months of summer i never touch it except at night. This is a great jeep im sure it will make someone very happy. any questions at all please just email me and i will answer as quick as possible.
